Tooth Transplantation

Tooth transplantation refers to the transfer of a tooth from one socket to another. This is considered a fairly rare alternative to dental implants, since it does not require that a prosthetic be implanted in the socket. Most cases lend themselves to dental implants instead of tooth transplantation, because patients tend to not have adequate donor or recipient sites.
